More than 20 pupils from our school brought joy to the residents of the Bethesda Senior Citizens' Center with dance and music performances, riddles, plays and poems at the St. Nicholas party.
It all started with a project idea from Omas gegen Rechts Ochtrup: a democracy-promoting theater project could get pupils interested in politics and raise awareness. The drama club at Gronau grammar school, led by Silke Heilen, took up the idea.
