Logic Puzzles at WvSG

Puzzle Challenge 2026

There were 55 IQ and Smart Games available, allowing puzzle enthusiasts to “earn” their points.

Once the children had solved a puzzle, they went to Ms. Müller-Wenderdel, Ms. Witomsky, or Ms. Demming to quickly collect their points and a signature, and then on to the next puzzle station. The three were actively supported by guests Johanna and Theresa, without whom the many solved puzzles would not have received the recognition they deserved. Pretzel sticks and drinks were once again available for refreshment and were gratefully accepted.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for solving so many brain teasers!

Lejan Knuth (5b) took first place. Rassa Akbary and Sarah Dawit (both 5c) came in second, and Floris Mäkelburg (6d) and Moritz Hüchtebrock (5c) tied for third place.

On behalf of everyone involved, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the WvSG Friends Association, which once again provided financial support for the Knobel Challenge by covering the costs of the prizes, consolation prizes, and refreshments. (Dmg)
