Class 1b

Visit from the police

On Wednesday, a policewoman was there and all the children were allowed to ask questions and take a close look at the uniform. She then read a police book to all the children. All the children received a traffic booklet from Captain Bluebear and those who wanted to could try on the handcuffs.

Craft day

Friday was the day again. All classes worked hard and decorated their classrooms and the school corridors for Christmas. Many parents helped out and there was a great buffet of cookies.

Class party

On 31.10.2026 we celebrated our first class party. Everything was decorated for Halloween and well prepared. There were spider webs, small and large spiders, big pumpkins, mummies and ghosts. All the children and some of the parents came dressed up. There was also a small performance: the skeleton shake. After the dance, there was lots of playing, talking and laughing. It was a great class party!

Dental health campaign

Ms. Sicking was in every class this week and talked a lot about teeth and dental health. Afterwards, we went to a prepared room. There, everyone was able to test their knowledge at various craft and game stations.

Visit to King Kunibert

We helped King Kunibert solve various puzzles so that the evil sorcerer could not steal the king's treasure.

Apple juice

As they have done for the past 12 years, Mr. and Mrs. Gartmann were back at our school today to press apple juice together with the first graders and some parents. First the apples were cut into small pieces and then chopped twice before they were put into the juicer. With combined forces, the juice was squeezed out. It was then strained and finally each child was allowed to bottle their own freshly squeezed apple juice.
